What a way to start off the New Year – another spectacular VAMquest Auction!! After 28 successful auctions, we’ve come to expect superior results, both in terms of the varieties offered and the prices realized. And last month’s Auction, even in the face of a slightly weakened numismatic market as a whole, saw spirited bidding, strong prices and lots of excitement!
What this means to you, as a VAM collector, is that the coins you’re actively seeking are still available here at VAMquest at the right prices. In "apples-to-apples" and "oranges-to-oranges" comparisons, we believe that there is no other comparable source for high-end Morgan and Peace dollar varieties anywhere else in the country.
Like most of you, we are on a "quest for quality." And talk about quality! Our current auction contains dozens of scarce VAMs that are rarely, if ever, encountered in these grades. Best of all, every coin in the auction has been slabbed by either PCGS or NGC, which represents a first for us!
Now, in VAMquest Auction #29, we’re proud to offer an impressive array of PCGS and NGC Top 100, Hot 50 and Hit List 40 slabbed varieties. Here are few of the highlights:
- 1878-P 8-TF VAM 2 NGC MS64 DMPL (8TF Set)
- 1878-P 8-TF VAM 23 in PCGS MS63 (TOP 100 Set)
