Lot #28027 1922-P VAM 2C PCGS AU55

1922-P VAM 2C PCGS AU55 | Peace Dollars Lot #28027 1922-P VAM 2C PCGS AU55
Description: Most of the excitement in today’s Peace dollar variety market is focused either on TOP 50 coins or on a number of unlisted die break varieties. So, it stands to reason that the major die break VAMs already in the TOP 50 represent many of the most popular varieties. The 1922-P VAM 2C displays a die break in Liberty’s hair that is so dramatic that novice collectors sometimes confuse it as an actual strand of hair. In any case, the VAM 2C is an irresistible variety, and it’s safe to say that a PCGS AU55 specimen should be just what some collectors are looking for.
Value Information: The 2009 Mid-Year VAMVIEW Pricing Index lists the value of an 1922-P VAM 2C in AU(50) at $125.
