Highlights
VAMquest has now completed over 40 successful auctions devoted exclusively to VAMs! And the numbers are impressive: More than a thousand high-end varieties have found new homes, which in our small corner of numismatics, is a lot of Morgan and Peace dollar VAMs! How did we do it? VAMquest has provided an easy-to-use, information-driven platform to sell varieties, and in the process, we’ve been able to provide the best-of-the-best VAMs. The coins are "right," the pricing is "right," and we stand behind everything we sell. Said another way, VAMquest Auctions has proved that, with us, you’ll receive what you pay for, and that’s saying a lot in today’s world! But VAMquest isn’t just another money-making business enterprise—it’s a proponent of the VAMs we sell. We’re an active participant in our segment of the market, travel to shows, give countless presentations, and serve as a resource day-in-and-day-out to novice and advanced collectors, alike.

» Next auction begins: 06/01/2012 » Auction closing time: 8pm PST But enough about us. It goes without saying that any success we’ve enjoyed is the result of the collectors who participate in our auctions. And now, as we embark on our next 40 auctions, we are committed more than ever to making VAMquest the "Go-To" resource for the VAMs you want—in the grades you rarely encounter. That said, here is a sampling of a few varieties from the last offering. And note that every coin in our auctions has been slabbed by PCGS!
At VAMquest Auctions, we’re confident you’ll find something you can get excited about in our next sale, Auction #43, which will open for viewing on 06/01/2012. And as always, we do appreciate your continued participation! Jeff Oxman PCGS Interviews Jeff Oxman and Ash HarrisonAt the February Long Beach Expo, a film crew for PCGS interviewed Jeff Oxman, founding President of the Society of Silver Dollar Collectors, and Ash Harrison, current President of the SSDC. The idea was to record a quick overview of VAM collecting, and in the process, focus on some of the books and publications that have contributed to its expanding collector-base. Special thanks go to Logan McKechnie, whose VAM table was used as the location for the filming. All this was a precursor to the PCGS Invitational Show in Las Vegas the following month, where Jeff was invited to give a presentation with Mike Faraone, Grader and Variety Attributor for PCGS, spotlighting the Hit List 40 Morgan dollar varieties.![]() |
